The Gateway Speedskating Club is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that has been instructing & promoting the sport of speedskating to children and adults since 1963.
Gateway is an affiliate of the Missouri Speedskating Association. We are also an association of U.S. Speedskating, the governing body of speedskating and olympic team development in the United States
No tryouts necessary, great skating ability not necessary (we'll teach you that), just come with an interest in learning this fun sport for life!
Confirmed with Kirkwood: There will be one hour
of open speedskating on the following Saturdays in June:
6/6 4:15-5:15
6/13 4:15-5:15
6/20 4:15-5:15
6/27 5:30-6:30 note time change
$5 per skater
Since this is a public speedskating session, don't hesitate
to bring along a friend (as long as all skating safety equipment
is worn). The more skaters we draw, the more the rink will
consider us for more open speedskating sessions.
